These red hiper 8 mirror lenses are the original replacement for the Ray-Ban Junior Aviator RJ9506S: the same lens the frame comes with from the factory, with full UV protection and the brand engraving. If a lens is scratched, marked or has come loose from the rim, you do not need new glasses.

Genuine, not a copy

This pair of lenses is an original factory part for the RJ9506S, with the same material and coating it came with: it seats in the rim without play and behaves like the first day. It is not a lens cut down from another frame.

Size: 52 (engraved on the temple)

The Junior Aviator comes in two sizes —50 and 52— and the lens changes with the size: a 50 lens will not fit a 52 rim. Choose yours in the dropdown. The number is engraved inside the temple, next to the colour code.

How this lens is fitted

The RJ9506S has a full metal rim: the lens is held around its whole edge and the rim opens and closes under tension. It can be done at home, but it is easy to bend the rim or mark the new lens when tightening. At Centro Óptico Alpedrete we fit them free of charge when you buy the spare part here: they go back mounted, centred and with the bridge adjusted.

Do you need them prescribed?

We are an optician: we also fit prescription lenses into the RJ9506S frame, with a child's prescription or for tired eyes. Send us the prescription and we will tell you which lens suits their age, no obligation. With a high prescription it is often better to glaze the whole frame than to change the sun lens: we will tell you straight before you order anything.

Both lenses or just one? A complete pair: you receive left and right.

Do they fit my RJ9506S? Yes, they are specific to this model. Check that code 223/B5 is the one engraved on your temple: if your frame is another colour, you need a different lens.

How long do they take? They are ordered from the factory: usually delivered in 7 business days. If you need them sooner, write to us and we will check the Luxottica warehouse.

What if it is not mine? Send us a photo of the code engraved on the temple and we will tell you exactly which lens you need. We do not want you buying a part that does not fit.
