What is the difference between Sutro Lite and Sutro Lite Sweep?
The main difference is the lens shape. The Sweep version features a curved bottom edge with rounded corners and classic vented style, whereas the standard Sutro Lite has a straight bottom edge. Both models share the same upper semi-rimless frame made of O-Matter™.
How secure is the grip during intense sweating?
The grip is highly secure. The frame features nosepads and temple socks made of Unobtainium®, a patented material that becomes stickier when wet with sweat, keeping the sunglasses in place during cycling or running.
How does your proprietary LCGI glazing system work?
It is a custom system from our optical laboratory. Instead of utilizing inner optical clips (which easily fog up and reduce lash clearance), we cut precise windows in the original shield and insert prescription lenses continuously. This delivers a clean, fog-free look.
How should I clean the sports sunglasses?
We suggest washing them with warm water and neutral soap to clear sweat from rubber parts and dust from the lens. Dry gently with the complimentary microfiber cleaning cloth. Avoid dry wiping with shirts or abrasive fabrics.

Can the Sutro Lite be fitted with prescription lenses?Yes, and in two ways. The Sutro Lite (OO9463) and Sutro Lite Sweep (OO9465) are among the few sports shields Oakley accepts in its official prescription programme, and we also glaze them in our own workshop.
