Official measurements for size 57: a 57 mm wide, 46 mm high lens, an 18 mm bridge and 145 mm temples.

How is it different from the classic BoyFriend?

Both are Ray-Ban's square, but they are not the same frame. The BoyFriend (RB4147) is size 60, with a 15 mm bridge and a 60 × 49 mm lens. The BoyFriend Two (RB4547) is the new generation: the bridge goes to 18 mm and the lens is slightly shallower (57 × 46 mm in size 57 and 60 × 48 mm in size 60), so the brow sits wider and straighter.

And there is a difference you notice when you try it on: the Two comes in two sizes. The 57 is for narrower faces, and that size does not exist in the classic BoyFriend.

The material changes too: the classic is nylon and the Two is injected, a little stiffer and with more presence. And the Two is listed as unisex, while the classic is listed as men's.

What does not change: both are prescription ready and both come with their original Ray-Ban case.

Can I get it with prescription lenses? Yes — and it is our speciality

The BoyFriend Two RB4547 is a prescription-ready frame: the factory ships it with demo lenses for exactly that reason. At Centro Óptico Alpedrete we have been glazing prescription lenses into sunglasses for over twenty years.

What do you need? Just your prescription. With it we tell you whether we can fit your lenses straight away or whether it is better to order the frame without lenses and glaze it in our workshop.

Lens types we fit: single vision, progressive and occupational, with anti-reflective, blue filter or polarized treatments with your prescription.

And how much does it cost? It depends on your prescription and the treatment, not on the frame. We give you a fixed price before we start.

Timing. About 7 business days for the frame; glazing in the workshop usually adds 2 or 3 more.

You can do it from a distance too. Send us your prescription on WhatsApp or by email, with the pupillary distance, and we ship it glazed and adjusted.
