The sunglasses that invented the gesture
The Wayfarer was born in 1952 and no generation has let it go: musicians, artists and anyone with an eye for design have worn it. This is the classic RB2140, in Havana with the Blue lens: the one you recognise from a hundred films.
Genuine Ray-Ban
Original sunglasses, with the laser-engraved logo on the temple and the lens, the same acetate, the same hinge and the same lenses that left the factory. Reference RB2140-902/R5.
Real lenses
Original Ray-Ban lenses with full UV protection: they cut glare, keep colours true and stop the eye fatigue of a long day in the sun. If you need prescription lenses, this frame is Rx-able and we glaze it in our own workshop in Alpedrete.
Size first
The Wayfarer comes in 50. The size is engraved on the inside of the temple (for example RB2140 901), and getting it right changes how it fits you: a 50 is not a 54. If you are unsure, send us a photo and we will tell you which one is yours.
Free fitting, always
It is an acetate frame with a fixed bridge, so the fit matters. If you buy it here we adjust it free of charge: temples, bridge and tilt, so it sits straight and does not slide. If it ever goes out of shape, bring it back and we will put it right.
