All-Day Comfort and Defined Character

One of the weakest points on everyday eyeglasses is the hinge: over months of use, standard screws loosen and temples lose their crisp alignment.

The Oakley Wheel House (OX8166-08) features Oakley's signature Hollowpoint™ hinges—inspired by hubless motorcycle wheels with a screwless internal cam mechanism—connecting a deep square O-Matter™ front (16 mm bridge) to headset-compatible 140 mm stainless steel temples with Unobtainium® sleeves. Its 39 mm (size 52) and 41 mm (size 54) lens heights accommodate both single-vision and progressive lenses effortlessly. This OX8166-08 edition in all-over Satin Black pairs the O-Matter™ front with darkened stainless steel temples.
