How to change your Jawbreaker shield (Switchlock™ system) and professional care

Swapping the shield is quick and needs no tools:

1. Lift the metal nose-bridge support upwards.
2. Slide the latch to release the lower jaw of the frame.
3. Gently take the used shield out and seat the new one into the upper and side guides.
4. Close the lower jaw and lower the nose bridge so it locks firmly.

Optometrist's tip: after rides with sweat or dust, always rinse the shield under warm running water before wiping it with the cloth, so salt crystals do not scratch the coating.
