Oakley Fuel Cell OO9096 Replacement Lenses Clear

Oakley Fuel Cell Replacement Lenses — Clear (Ref. OO9096-L7L)

Whether your lenses suffered an accidental scratch or you simply wish to restore pristine optical clarity, this is the authentic factory replacement set. These are not third-party replicas or generic aftermarket polycarbonate lenses: they are genuine Oakley lenses cut with precision toric geometry engineered specifically for the wrap-around Fuel Cell (OO9096) frame.

A great feature of this frame: all Fuel Cell lenses are interchangeable across frame colors. Whatever lens came standard on your frame, you can easily install these Clear lenses to refresh your style and performance without replacing your frame.

Optical Performance: Clear

The Clear transparent lens transforms your Fuel Cell into high-performance safety and sports eyewear ideal for night training, rainy rides, low-light overcast days, or workshop tasks requiring certified ANSI Z87.1 impact defense without reducing ambient light (93% light transmission).

Crafted from optical-grade Plutonite®, it blocks 100% of harmful ultraviolet radiation (UVA, UVB, and UVC) and meets strict ANSI Z87.1 safety standards for high-velocity and high-mass impact protection.

Easy Installation and Care Guide

Replacing Fuel Cell lenses at home takes only a few simple steps:

1. Firmly grip the bridge of the frame with one hand while resting the front face on a clean, soft cloth.
2. Place your thumbs against the inner surface of the lens and push steadily outward until the edge releases from the frame groove.
3. To insert the new lens, seat the outer temple edge into the bevel first, then gently press around the nasal corner until it firmly snaps into place.

Workshop tip: Always clean lenses with lukewarm running water and mild liquid soap, then dry with your microfiber cloth. Avoid paper towels and dry rubbing to preserve the coatings.

Looking for Prescription Lenses?

If you wear prescription eyewear and want your Oakley Fuel Cell crafted with your distance or progressive prescription, our in-house optical workshop can customize your frame with genuine Oakley True Digital (OTD) lenses laser-etched with the authentic ellipse logo.
