The Oakley Sutro sunglasses are the brand's urban icon: a clean rectangular silhouette inspired by track cycling, with a wide shield that protects without sacrificing style. Its light, durable O-Matter frame and 37 size make it the perfect companion for the city and sport.

Can the classic Oakley Sutro be fitted with prescription lenses?

Yes, now it can. The classic Sutro (OO9406) could not be glazed because of its closed frame. It can now be fitted with Oakley's new official ShieldFusion technology: the corrective lenses are laminated at the factory onto the inner face of the shield, with no clips to rub against your eyelashes or vibrate.

ShieldFusion limit: single vision, sphere plus cylinder up to ±3.00 D. If your prescription exceeds it, the factory will not accept it.
Progressive or high prescription? Not possible on the classic Sutro. The option is the Sutro Lite (OO9463) or the Sutro Lite Sweep (OO9465) adapted in our own workshop (Shield Optics): from +6.00 to −7.00 D, cylinders up to −4.00 D and a cycling progressive for reading your GPS without straining your neck.
Just want the sunglasses? Nothing changes: they ship as they are, non-prescription.
