A real aviator, in a bigger size
The RB3925 is Ray-Ban's classic shape —double bridge, adjustable nose pads, thin metal— taken to 58 and 62 mm. This 001/31 is the combination that never fails: arista gold and a green crystal lens. If aviators have always felt small on you, this is your model.
How it feels. The metal is light and the nose pads sit without pinching, so an hour in you forget you are wearing it. What you do notice is how people look at you: a frame this size does not go unnoticed. Coming from a standard aviator, day one feels like «this is a lot». A week later you will not want anything else.
The lens: G-15 green crystal, category 3. This is the Ray-Ban lens of all time. It filters full sun while keeping colours where they belong —red stays red, green does not turn grey— and it rests your eyes on long drives. Crystal, not plastic: it cleans better, scratches less and you feel it in the weight.
There is a workshop behind the glasses. We have been fitting and adjusting glasses in Alpedrete for over twenty years, with registered optometrists and our own workshop. When you buy here, the frame leaves fitted to your face —temples, bridge, height— with free check-ups whenever you need one.
Factory original, with papers. We are authorised Ray-Ban retailers: it arrives with its case, its cloth and a 2-year European warranty. The code 001/31 is engraved on the inside of the temple, the Ray-Ban logo sits on the right lens and the small RB print on the left: the three signs of an original.
Can it be prescribed? Yes — and it is what we do best.
It is a full metal rim, one of the easy ones: prescription lenses fit without any problem, progressives included. We fit original Ray-Ban lenses, with the logo engraved on the right and the small RB on the left, and we glaze and centre them in our workshop. Short-sighted, astigmatic, reading addition: no practical limit.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really that big?
Calibre 62 is one of the largest aviators Ray-Ban makes: it covers a lot of field of view and makes the face look smaller. 58 is the standard aviator measurement. If you are between the two, take 58; if aviators always felt small, take 62.
Does it feel heavy at this size?
No. It is thin metal with crystal lenses: the weight is in the presence, not on your nose. The nose pads spread it well and leave no marks.
With a high prescription, will it stay thin?
With a normal myopia, yes. If your prescription is high, message us first: we will tell you the thickness to expect and whether a higher index is worth it.
Does it come with case and cloth?
Yes, both original Ray-Ban inside the box. If you want a hard case for your bag or the glovebox, tell us and we will show you ours.
Do you sell individual spare parts?
Yes: original lenses and temples, plus screws and nose pads for the model. Message us with the code engraved on the temple and we will confirm compatibility, price and lead time.
Shall we fit it on you in Alpedrete?
Come to the shop and we will adjust it in front of the mirror, with real light. And if you would rather sort it out by message, we are on the other side.

Would you rather have the standard size?
The Aviator RB3025 is the same silhouette in 58 mm, with a 14 mm bridge and none of the extra width. If the Aviator Max feels like too much frame, that is your lifetime measurement.
