The Ray-Ban round that weighs nothing: RB2180 Turtledove / blue gradient grey

The RB2180 is a round pair of sunglasses with a propionate frame, a technical plastic that is a little more matte and warmer to the touch than injected, with the same light weight. High bridge, round shape: your face stays open, the frame does not sit on your brow and it wears all day without leaving marks. It comes in two sizes, 49 and 51 and this version is Turtledove with a blue gradient grey lens.

How it feels on. On day one you think a round frame this open will look big on you; a week later you will not take it off. Because the front is one piece and the bridge sits high, there are no screws to loosen and no nose pads digging in: it rests on your nose and ears, nothing else. And the field of view is wide, so it works as well for driving as for reading a menu with the sun in your face.

The lens: blue gradient grey. A blue and grey gradient lens, category 3 and 100 % UV. Blue sits at the top and melts into grey below, so your eyes read clean and the frame does not swallow your face. It is the coolest of the seven. It can also be glazed to a prescription, and if one day it gets scratched there is a genuine replacement lens: from €40.66 the pair.

We are registered optometrists: every frame is adjusted to your face before it leaves, checked a few days later and re-adjusted free of charge whenever needed. If you order it glazed, we fit the lenses ourselves and hand it over ready to wear.

Yes, and you do not need a new frame. We stock the genuine lens for this colour from €40.66 the pair and fit it in our Alpedrete workshop.

The pair is replaced, genuine, for €51.05. The length is 145 or 150 mm depending on size and it is engraved inside the temple.
