Temples Matte Tortoise - Oakley Split Shot Replacement (OO9416-03V)

When a Single Spare Part Saves Your Favorite 200+ Euro Sunglasses

The Oakley Split Shot (OO9416) was built for harsh environments: choppy boat rides, wet rocks, tackle boxes, salt spray and blazing sun. Over the years—or after an accidental crush—the temples are almost always the part that takes the hit. Sometimes the hinge snaps under sudden pressure; other times, after hundreds of days outdoors, they lose their original lateral tension and the frame starts sliding down your nose.

Instead of retiring your sunglasses or settling for flimsy aftermarket parts, this pair of authentic Oakley replacement temples (OO9416-03V / B2B Code 941603) restores your Split Shot to factory-fresh condition.

What Does This Temple Pair Solve in Real Use?

• Exact Factory Finish (Matte Tortoise (Matte Tortoise with Bronze Icon)): Originally matched to the Oakley Split Shot Matte Tortoise with Prizm Tungsten Polarized lens (OO9416-03). The warm Matte Tortoise finish accented by a bronze Oakley icon belongs to the classic Prizm Tungsten Polarized edition, giving a technical waterman frame a timeless look on and off the boat.
• Integrated Retainer System Slot: Unlike standard Oakley frames, Split Shot temples feature a precision-molded rear port where the braided steel leash clicks in, keeping your frame secure around your neck in high winds and rough water.
• 132 mm Hat-Compatible Geometry: Engineered with a low-profile curve that slides comfortably under caps, sun hats or rain hoods without digging behind your ears.
• Resilient O-Matter Memory: Restores the exact Three-Point Fit lateral grip so your lenses stay optically aligned in front of your eyes.
• 100% Cross-Color Compatibility Across OO9416: Every Oakley Split Shot shares the exact same hinge mold and 132 mm temple length. Use this pair to restore your original colorway or customize any other OO9416 front frame.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) — Oakley Split Shot Replacement Temples

1. Does the price include a single temple arm or the complete pair?

It always includes the complete pair (both left and right temples), ready to click into your Oakley Split Shot front frame.

2. Will these temples (OO9416-03V) fit if my Split Shot was originally a different color?

Yes, 100%. All Oakley Split Shot (OO9416) frames share the exact same hinge geometry and 132 mm length. Whether your original color is discontinued or you want a custom two-tone look, they will fit seamlessly.

3. Do they include the rear slot for the Split Shot steel leash?

Yes. As genuine Oakley Split Shot replacement parts, both temple tips feature the Integrated Retainer System port where your braided steel leash clips in (the steel leash itself is not included with spare temples).

4. Do I need a screwdriver to install Split Shot temples?

No. The Oakley Split Shot uses a screwless snap-in hinge system (eliminating metal screws that could corrode in saltwater). Simply align the temple at roughly a 45-degree angle to the front lug and press firmly until it clicks into place.

5. Why does the product photo show the side profile of the complete sunglasses?

We display the official side view of the colorway so you can clearly see how the temple finish and Oakley icon look when mounted. As stated in the red banner at the bottom of the image, this product includes the pair of replacement temples only.

6. Can I swap temples if my Split Shot has prescription lenses (or if I want to graduate it now)?

Absolutely. Swapping the temples does not affect the lenses mounted in your front frame. And if you want to add prescription lenses to your Split Shot, contact us via WhatsApp (+34 628 307 395) and our optometrists will craft them for you.
